45g or 90g of Rose Gold pearlised sequins, they are round and flattish in shape, with a light pearlised sheen, they are also known as edible confetti, the sequins are best known for covering the sides of cake when buttercream is used.
The sequins can be used in many other ways as well as biscuits, even fairy bread, they are soft to eat and to explain how dense they are you could cut but not squash between your finger nails. If these were left for a long amount of time on a cake on a moist icing, (more than 3 days) they may dissolve into the icing.
The size of each sequin is approximately 2mm in diameter and 1mm in thickness. 90g is approximately 1/2 metric cup.
Ingredients for sequins: Sugar, potato starch, corn starch, rice flour, non-hydrogenated palm oil, (100% RSPO certified) Lecithin, Thickener (Xanthan Gum) Shellac, Artificial flavour, Vanilla water, glazing agent (acacia gum sugar) The sequins may contain one or more of the following colours #102 E555 Mica, E133, E171 (Titanium Dioxide), E101, E127, E175, E141 US approved colours.
